Tactical Training Catered to the Civilian Market

Offensive Pistol - 1 is a 3 hour offensive handgun course in which shooters focus on advanced shooting techniques and skills. Shooters will move and engage targets, remediate failures, and engage from unconventional shooting positions.

Recommended Minimum Round Count : 250

Tactical gear is encouraged, belt and retention holster are minimum gear required. Long pants/knee pads/elbow pads are recommended as shooters will shoot from kneeling and prone positions.

Range fee and ammunition not included.

Course Objectives:

I.                 Intro/Safety Brief (5 min)

·       Overview of course objectives

·       Safety rules/range rules

·       Emergency SOP

II.               Firearm Basics (10 min)

·       What is an Offensive Pistol?

·       Loading unloading/holstering/range commands

III.             Offensive Marksmanship Fundamentals (45 min)

·       Grip/stance/sight alignment (Dry Fire)

·       Presentation Drill (Dry Fire)

·       Marksmanship Drill (Live Fire)

IV.             Offensive Pistol Situational Exercise (60 min)

·       Target identification (Mixed)

·       Holster draw/dynamic shooting practice (Mixed)

V.               Advanced Offensive Shooting Techniques (60 min)

·       Cover vs. concealment/dynamic shooting/reloading (Live Fire)

·       Failure/remediation drills static/dynamic (Live Fire)

VI.             After Action Report (10 min)

·       Questions/answers

Certification Eligibility: Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will be eligible to pursue Offensive Pistol - 2 and any TACFIT Event.
